Roosevelt Elementary School Computer Club

In 2018 and 2019, several SPCUG members worked with 3rd graders at the Roosevelt Elementary School Computer Club in Port Angeles. The kids successfully disassembled and reassembled the components in desktop computers.

About Roosevelt Elementary School

Roosevelt, formerly Roosevelt Middle School, opened as an elementary school in September 2007. Located on the eastern side of Port Angeles, it is the largest elementary school in the city and houses kindergarten through sixth grade classrooms, as well as special education classrooms. Roosevelt’s approach to student achievement is caring and nurturing, yet data-driven with a problem-solving “No Excuses” foundation.
